Chapter 2 End notes
Why? Because I can.

The first chapter seemed choppy after I finished, so in Chapter 2 I tried slowing down and "showing" the story without rushing through it.

That's how the last third of Chapter 2 ended up as the first half of Chapter 3. sigh. I can plan chapters of 25-30 pages, but they never end up that way.

I'm getting faster with Photoshop, so I may have a prayer of finishing this in my lifetime... but my next project is going to be black & white, none of this shades of grey stuff. I have it planned out, but I'm not starting til I wrap up Minimum Wage Faeries... about a year and a half give or take.

As for Niam, don't judge him too harshly. Sure he's prideful and amoral. He's at that "jerk" stage of being a teenage boy, with some complications; he's psychic, people and situations keep escaping from his control (or controlling him), and he keeps foreseeing his own death. You'll have to forgive him for not taking it well.

That doesn't mean you have to like him, however.
